Steel is bonded within to permit mounting hinges, latches, and prop rods * Hand-made with three layers of 1.5 oz fiberglass mat resulting in a part with consistent thickness and strength throughout * Hand-rolled to remove air bubbles that can compromise quality * Corematt – a thin fabric that adds stiffness and strength – is added to the fiberglass in the large, flat areas in this part * No chopper gun used – EVER! * Finished in glossy, black, sandable, gelcoat. Requires only minimal preparation before painting * Guaranteed to fit on stock, steel cars and many reproduction bodies.
