Small axle diameter at hub 1.275 with 3/4" nut. Hub diameter at outer end is 1.033". These are newly manufactured axles that have been machined from a tempered chromium-molybdenum steel with approximately 140,000 psi tensil strength and a hardness of Rc28-32, providing superior strength and toughness along with excellent surface hardness on the taper, seal and splines. **IMPORTANT** It is imperative that a new inner axle seal be installed prior to installing the new axle.
