This item came from a large collection of New Old Stock (NOS) items purchased recently from a Chevrolet Dealership in California. These parts have not been offered for sale in the last 35 years. As you view our online catalog you will see many of these items listed for sale. Each item is unique and we cannot get more of them. These are new GM factory original parts - not reproductions. This is a NOS left front fender emblem for a 1959 3100 series (1/2 ton) Chevrolet pickup truck. It is in pristine condition and ready to bolt on. Comes in original box, which shows normal shelf wear. If you think the price is too high, consider that if you took your original, pitted emblem to a chrome plating shop, they would charge you at least half of this price to plate it. Even IF they can plate it, they will probably grind much of the original shape and detail off before they plate it. IF you get a good plating job you still need to paint it - perfectly.
