This item came from a large collection of New Old Stock (NOS) items purchased recently from a Chevrolet Dealership in California. These parts have not been offered for sale in the last 35 years. As you view our online catalog you will see many of these items listed for sale. Each item is unique and we cannot get more of them. These are new GM factory original parts - not reproductions. These are NOS hubcaps for all 1940 Chevy passenger cars and 1/2 Ton trucks. They are in good condition but they do have some shelf wear (see pictures). They do have the original box. If you think the price is too high, consider that if you took your original, dented and pitted hubcaps to a chrome plating shop, they would charge you at least half of this price to plate them. Even IF they can plate them, they will probably grind much of the original shape and detail off before they plate it. IF you get a good plating job you still need to paint it - perfectly.
