This item came from a large collection of New Old Stock (NOS) items purchased recently from a Chevrolet Dealership in California. These parts have not been offered for sale in the last 35 years. As you view our online catalog you will see many of these items listed for sale. Each item is unique and we cannot get more of them. These are new GM factory original parts - not reproductions. This is a NOS hood emblem for 1951 car. It is yellowed but it is in mint condition. It does have the original box. Only ONE available-first come, first serve! If you think the price is too high, consider that if you took your original, pitted emblem to a chrome plating shop, they would charge you at least half of this price to plate it. Even IF they can plate it, they will probably grind much of the original shape and detail off before they plate it. IF you get a good plating job you still need to paint it - perfectly.
