No Horn Fully Polished. 39 classic column. 39 Classic Column accepts Juliano's and original type 36-39 wheels only. Works well in 32-39 Fords. 39 version is for floor shift only. We have artfully combined the classic styling of the '40 Ford steering column with modern manufacturing techniques and designed the ultimate column for traditional hot rods. Each is hand crafted from aluminum alloy to look original in every way. All dimensions are exactly like the original. The '40 column is available with an authentic looking column shift with reprodcution shift knob and detents compatible with most three and four speed automatics. The shift linkage lever can be indexed to any position for any position for easy linkage hook-up. A smooth version without the column shift is also available for floor shifts. Any of the new Juliano's wheels mount directly to these columns for an exceptionally clean look. No adapters. You may also mount an original '40 steerng wheel or GM compatible wheel without the need of an adpater. Standard column length is 35 in. We will also custom build to any length. Columns are measured from the end of the column to the top of the bell. Do not include the splined steering shaft in the measurement. Shafts accept a 3/4 in DD U-joint. All columns are wired from horns. Special column drops and floor mounts are also available. Like the original, these authentic columns do not have built in turn signals, but a chromed '50's accessory unit would sure complete the look.
