YOU CAN EITHER LEAVE IT AS IS, OR ADD TO YOUR UPPER FENDERS WITH FIBERGLASS TO MAKE THE LINES MEET). 68- early 69 may require that you change your hood latches. SPECIAL ORDER PLEASE NOTE: It is sometimes difficult to fit a new hood on a front end that is 25 + years old. Over the years the front end sags down due to age and the weight of the headlights, radiator, etc. When installing a new hood, it is usually necessary to be able to shim & lift up the front end. Even then, there can still be alignment problems on the sides of the fenders, so body work may also be necessary. It is usually not an issue with the new hood, it is with the aged body of the Vette. If you cannot fit the new hood to your car, it can be returned, but the customer is responsible for return freight charges, and there will be a 10% restocking fee.
