Over the years the front end sags down due to age and the weight of the headlights, radiator, etc. When installing a new hood, it is usually necessary to be able to shim & lift up the front end. Even then, there can still be alignment problems on the sides of the fenders, so body work may also be necessary. It is usually not an issue with the new hood, it is with the aged body of the Vette. If you cannot fit the new hood to your car, it can be returned, but the customer is responsible for return freight charges, and there will be a 10% restocking fee.
