Stainless steel racks can be special ordered WITHOUT holes drilled if you have a different hole pattern. These STAINLESS racks are screwed together like the original chrome racks. They are polished stainless, but NOT as shiney as chrome racks. We HIGHLY suggest buying a Luggage Rack BEFORE painting your Vette!! Some original luggage rack's hole locations may differ from the current productions. GM's luggage rack manufacturers did NOT put the holes in exactly the same location year after year. By purchasing the rack before you paint your Vette, you can fill in or alter your exhisting holes in case they don't line up. See diagram for hole measurements. 68-75 Factory racks had 6 mounting holes. 76-77 Factory racks had 8 mounting holes.
