Rat Industries is the manufacturer of these premium dead soft copper gaskets. Dead soft copper is much softer than steel and it conforms to the header O-ring seals and collector flange seal rings. Copper also expands and contracts with the headers to maintain its seal plus its much more resistant to deterioration than any other exhaust gasket material. Header flanges must be straight and clean for proper gasket sealing . These gaskets are not embossed. Header gaskets are .062 thick, collector gaskets are .043 thick. Both are sold in pairs.
