Sliding hood caddys fit three piece style hoods. Guide rod mounts to firewall and to latch support bar. Hood prop rod secures to hood top. This feature prevents the prop rod from being accidently knocked down or hood from being blown over. HC2835 fits 1928-1936 Fords but may be used in other applications that feature a side hinged three piece hood.
