Shocks are covered over the shaft to protect them from dirt, rocks...etc. Shocks have rubber bushings in both ends. Upper bushing has steel insert to accept 3/8" bolt. Lower bushing has 5/8" hole and fits Pete & Jakes number 1068 shock studs. Measures 9-3/8" closed and 14-3/8" extended.
