Super Slider springs feature Moly-Nylon pads in the ends of each leaf. These pads are held between spring leafs by pockets made into the leaf ends. All springs in stock have reversed eyes and are 1-3/4" wide. Springs are plain finish, chrome is available but by special order only. Call for current pricing for chromed springs. How to determine spring length with axle only: Measure center line of spring perch boss to center line of spring perch boss and deduct 5". How to determine spring length with axle, perches and shackles installed: Make sure that the shackles are in line with each other. Measure center line of shackle pin to center line of shackle pin. Example: '32 Ford with Magnum with 2" narrow axle. Axle measures 34-3/8" from center to center of perch bosses. 34-3/8" (boss measurement) minus 5" (deduction for perches and shackles) = 29-3/8". You would use a 29" spring because it is better to de-arch a 29" spring than to put more of an arch on a 30"
