Universal windshield wiper kits use a remote mounted motor that pushes and pulls a cable that inturn moves the wiper blades. The amount of travel the motor moves the cable is adjustable which adjusts the amount of sweep the blades travel over the windshield. Wiper arms can be setup where both arms move in the same direction or can be setup where arms move in opposite directions. All kits are two speed kits and are self-parking. All kits come with transmission box that the motor mounts to, drive motor, cable, wiper pivot studs with drive mechanisms and instructions. Wiper studs have 1/4" shaft with 1/2" adapter allowing for most any manufactures wiper arm installation. Three kits available; no switch or wiring (for cars using GM column with wiper switch built into column), standard two speed switch with wiring, or intermittent (delay) switch with wiring. Wiper arms are not included. With special transmissions made especially for 47-54 Chevy pickups. This allows for quicker and easier installation of these popular wiper kits into these trucks.
