Billet aluminum brackets are nicely polished and have ball milled grooves. Brackets are for use on small block Chevy engines with 69' & later model heads with bolt holes in the ends and short water pump. Alternator bracket mounts the alternator on the driver side in existing bolt holes. It may be necessary that one bolt hole be drilled and tapped into the passenger side head for installation of A/C bracket. Brackets come with all necessary installation hardware and instructions. Adjuster Bar Applications for Alt & A/C Brackets (Not Tuneport). If you are only using the alternator bracket (5127) you will need the slotted adjuster arm (3442). This slotted arm runs from the upper water pump bolt on the passenger side, up and over to the top of the alternator. If using both the alternator and A/C compressor you will need both the short bar (3999) and the long bar (4000). The long bar installs from the upper water pump bolt on the driver side to the compressor. The short bar will run from the compressor over to the alternator.
