Adjustable brake proportioning valve is essentially a pressure reducing valve that is placed in-line to the rear wheels. The valve is used to control front-to-rear braking pressure. If no type of proportioning is used, the rear wheels may try to "skid" before the front. By decreasing pressure to the rear (with this valve) more pressure is internally applied to the front giving better overall braking. Fittings included for installation into 3/16" brake line.
