This new innovative Cross Steer Rack and Pinion for straight axle front end is a direct replacement for the Vega steering boxes. This new Cross Steer design gives you a nice, easy and consistent steering through the entire steering travel unlike standard Vega boxes. Rack comes fully polished with a chrome plated tie rod to match existing steering components. This new design installs in less than an hour with ordinary hand tools and with no drilling or welding. An adaptor shaft is available for applications that are replacing an existing Vega steering box. This adaptor shaft allows you to install the Cross Steer Rack without any extra u-joints or steering modifications.
