short Block. Brackets are designed with low hood clearance in mind. These brackets work with small block engines with a long water pump and in cars with wide engine compartments such as trucks and 50's-60's cars. Brackets bolt to the head and top water pump bolts. Alternator bracket fits all 1969 and newer heads and A/C bracket fits all GM aluminum heads and may be used on '69 thru '86 cast iron heads by drilling and tapping one hole for upper mounting.
