1956 Heel Panel Convertible. Black. Our heel panel is the strip of cardboard that goes under the bottom of the rear seat cushion and above the carpet. Originally it was made out of dyed cardboard, but we have made it out of cardboard and covered with vinyl. This way it has a perfect color match to the rest of our upholstery items, and the lasting durability of vinyl over cardboard alone.
