Hey you guys---Are the linkage ends on your throttle shafts all rusty, lost your balls, or just plain worn out. I now make an exact reproduction linkage end for your Stromberg carbs. This is a precision lazor cut part with main pull ball forged to correct size and pump rod balls attached. This is an exact duplicate of the later Stromberg 97-81 stamped arm. The picture on the right shows you the raw stamping before we do the shaping and install the ball pulls. Use the stromberg 48 shafts to fit this linkage if your ordering our new shafts as it is made for the squared end shaft. If you are using your own 97 style shafts these work fine also by grinding a couple of flat spots on your shaft before installing. You can drill the end of your shaft with a #36 drill and tap with a 6-32 tap---(I supply you with the correct socket head screw and washer) or you can do as we do and silver braze the linkage end to your shaft. NOTE--Our shafts come already drilled and tapped. This part is bright plated. Order our shaft --part # S-9581-48-shaft-and let me know the size.
