FORD  ACCELERATOR PUMP SPRING CLIP - Part Number S-9637A
Holds large accelerator pump spring to to the pump shaft on the 97-48 only. This is the original style part that came on the 97's. Note-you must use part # S-9637B washer with this retainer. For an improved version use our new vintage speed part # S-9637. It has a much smaller outside diameter and will not let the pump spring hang up on the gasket or the top of the bowl. We use the S-9637 on all our shop rebuilds.
