Fully street legal for 1984 and later model bikes with OEM electronic ignition. Adjustable ignition advance and 4,000 to 8,000 rpm adjustable rev limiter. Easy installation uses H-D timing rotor. Two user selectable curves: one optimized for Big Twin engines, the other for Sportster models. Kick start and electric start modes. Immediately fires the first cylinder on kickers. Reduces "kick back" and strain on electric start systems. The Hi-4 Single Fire Ignition 8-2200 is intended for use with Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The Hi-4 replaces the OEM electronic ignition system and is 50 states street legal (California Air Resources Board E.O.D.-225-430 for the following applications: 1984 Thru 1993 FX series Big Twin models, 1985 thru 1993 FL series Big Twin models and 1986 thru 1993 XL series Sportster models. The Hi-4 features advanced RISC microcontroller technology that allows adjustable advance and rev limit. A timing LED indicates static timing (top dead center) and gives diagnostic information. Two starting modes are provided: electric start and kick start. A tach output gives accurate tach readings even at the rev limit.
