XDL = Prelubricated. The mainstay of Diamond's motorcycle chain product line, the 530 chain, has been upgraded with improved raw material selection, heat-treating methods, and assembly techniques to meet the demands of todays motorcycles. Diamond's 530 XDL combines high strength and the capacity of Diamond's performance-proven rollr chain with the advantages of fewer adjustments and less maintenance. Added strength is made possible by thicker and re-designed contour inside linkplates. The chain is designed over sprockets with teeth cut according to the American National Standard B29.1 for No. 50 chain. Expertise is hardness control, press fits, length tolerance, and parts fabrication have been added to heavy linkplates and solid constructed seamless rollers.
