TAPPET CONVERSION KIT - Part Number 91-506
To convert existing H-D hydraulic tappets to mechanical operation, Crane now offers a kit that provides a new pushrod seat and a plug assembly that prevents oil from entering the hollow tappet body. This kit also features the improved geometry as outlined with the Tappet/Pushrod Assembly. A weight savings of 25% from the stock tappet/pushrod is also realized. Chrome moly steel pushrods are also included to complete the geometry improved, Crane quality valve train. NOTE: Installation of this tappet kit requires the removal of the camshaft from the engine.
