Andrews' springs & collars are designed for easy installation and maximum reliability. If you are installing cams in a Shovel engine, the valve spring collars and related parts below will make thinks go a lot smoother. Low profile lower spring collars are similar to stock 1980 style parts but are lower profile for easier installation of higher lift cams. They are required parts if you are using 1980 style valve guides which utilize "K" line stem seals. Material is heat treated steel.
