No wiring modifications or special installation required. Sight not that crisp on night rides? Advances in technology allow a 30 to 40% increase in perceived light. While replacing the standard H-4 12V 60/55 bulb, the XB3 xenon boosted bulb uses a new coating material that actually increases the color temperature of the bulb to move the light closer to daylight. Xenon gas is used to cool the filament and allow the halogen process to produce a higher light output. The special blue coating increases the whiteness of the light with only a trace of blue at the headlight periphery. Don't confuse these with the blue coated bulbs currently being marketed.
