Machine finish floating rotor. Uses stock mounting hardware. Russell High Performance 420 Stainless Steel Brake Rotors are an integral part of your brake system. Russel engineers have designed these rotors to deliver the optimum in braking efficiency with the maximum in heat dissipation. Russell's intensive manufacturing methods utilize 17 individual procedures; these procedures incorporate the piercing of all heat dissipation holes and mounting holes guaranteeing precise center to center hole dimensions. Other procedures include o.d. truing, high frequency induction hardening and tempering prior to final surface grinding. Each manufacturing procedure is computer controlled guaranteeing the utmost in quality control. Russell 420 Stainless Steel Brake rotors utilize SVS420/Z material that is highly rust-resistant and compatible with all types of disc brake pads, including sintered material. Available in satin or pro polished finish. Russel Pro Polish Rotors The first precision polished stainless steel rotor H-D. The Pro Polish Rotors feature a mirror finish utilizing Russell's exclusive E.F.S. process. Due to the exacting specifications a Pro Polish rotor is held to, they achieve a flatness to within one lightband (.0000116") and a surface finish to within one micro inch or less. The end result is a precision product with zero out of balance. As the above 420 rotors, Pro Polish rotors utilizie SVS420/Z stainless steel that is highly rust-resistant and compatible with all types of disc brake pads including sintered material and Kevlar.
