To fit hose part No. 71-140 gas/oil line. For stainless steel braided hose. Hose ends dress up a stainless steel braided hose installation and cover a greater length of hose than standard clamps, providing greater support. If the hose end is used with an uncovered rubber hose, the support provided tends to reduce the amount of vibration wear usually found at the edges of the worm gear clamp, resulting in a longer lasting connection. The interior grooving of the hose end prevents the hose from "hanging up" on the clamp and assures proper placement of the worm gear type clamp in the hose end. Available in red or chrome.
