CAMSHAFT - Part Number 114-168
33/53 Timing 266 @.053 duration .555 Valve Lift 59/33 Timing 266 @ .053 duration .555 Valve Lift Broad torque range to 6000+ rpm with hydraulic lifters. Andrews springs, collars and pushrods required. #114-168 needs long pushrods. These grinds are Andrews Iron Sportster cam shapes with the correct timing for the different roller diameter and rocker ratio. They are proven cam designs and for larger EV Sportster engines will produce lots of smooth, usable power. Andrews Products has a number of performance cam designs for EV Sportster engines. All of the cams will run to 6500 rpm with stock hydraulic lifters. Since the stock lifters are such proven units, we continue to recommend that they not be changed to solids. Andrews Products EV Sportster cams have stock base circle sizes so stock (non-adjustable) pushrods can be used (except V9 or BV grinds). Adjustable aluminum pushrods are available, but note: 1991 Sportster engines are considerably different from earlier EV Sportsters. Cam gears for earlier EV Sportsters will not fit 1991 engines. The 1991 EV Sportsters require fixed length (non-adjustable) pushrods. Andrews pushrods and Andrews titanium upper valve spring collars will fit all Evolution 80 engines and all Evolution Sportsters. They will provide .050 more spring travel over stock collars and will install with stock keepers.
