Powerglide tappets are capable of the highest rpm a Harley can safely turn about 8025 rpm at a valve lift of .700", with the right valve springs, valves, cam oil, etc. We recommend using Jims tappet blocks part No. 91-629. It is not necessary to use a limiting travel washer in Powerglide tappets.
