Premium certified aerospace aluminum allows for super-tight fitting clearances for maximum efficiency, quiet operation & excellent oil control. Each piston is CNC machined w/ smooth flow domes: individually balanced & inspected. Use only with Edelbrock heads due to unique dome configuration. These pistons can accommodate 1.940 intake & 1.75 exhaust valved sizes. Wrist pins are made of heat treated chrome moly bar stock. Top piston rings are premium ductile iron alloy, coated w/ a plasma moly for superior durability. The second ring is a reverse twist taper design that dramatically reduces "blow by" for more power. The third oil ring creates less tension & offers excellent oil control.
