As a normal ring wears, the gap opens up, allowing moe combustion gases to escape. The Total Seal Gapless ring has no gap to wear open. Instead, its patented design incorporates a 2 part interlocking ring to close off the gap & provide a more perfect seal between pisto & cylinder. As the Total Seal ring wears, the gap stays sealed. Installation is comparable to conventional rings. No unusual tools or piston groove modifications are necessary. Specific instructions are provided w/ each set. Provides complete set of rings, consisting of top ring, one or more combustion rings, & one or more oil rings. All rings are selected & matched for the individual application.
