Ignition Spyke multi-spark single fire ignition. Twice the spark, twice the performance. At last the technology of an optically triggered ignition comes without a brian box. This single or dual fire system can be set up either way based on your desire - single or dual fire - it's your choice; the ignition works either way based on how you wire it. Multiple spark: the real trick is 2 sparks on compression with 30 degree spread in the 2 sparks. Programmable advance curve/rev limit: program the curve and rev limit wherever you want. There are no limitations when you use a potentiometer. It's an option other ignitions don't give you. This applies to single fire ignition only. Quick time arrow/static timing light: no timing light needed, line up the arrow and hold own screw and you're finished. Also included is a static timing light if you prefer this method. Automatic coil shutoff: If you forget and leave your bike on, the Spyke ignition won't leave you stranded. This feature has already saved hundreds of bikes the cost and hassle of replacing coils and batteries. Optically triggered: Hall effect systems can be off as much as a +7 degree for a total of 14 degree spark deviation. Using logic, the quickest and most efficient way to get from point A to point B is a 100 percent stable spark, not a stubling-bubling spark advance. Coil saturation control: an additional pin has been added to the rotor. This determines when the coil is on and makes the coil run cooler because it is on only when needed. Many other systems have the coil of 75 percent of the time and that means overheating and breakdown of coils, breaker, ignition switch and kill switch because 25 percent of the time the amp draw is doubled along with weaker output. No brain box: no need for unnecessary wires or an unwanted brain box.
