ALL  ALUMINUM C5R RACING BLOCK - Part Number 12480030
Aluminum C5R Racing Block Maximum effort competition engine block as used in LeMans C5R Corvettes. Same external dimensions as Gen III production block except for siamesed water jacket for larger bore sizes. Delivered with pre-hone bore size of 4.117 inches. Maximum finished bore size is 4.160 inches. Deck height is 9.240 inches. Block is fitted with steel billet bearing caps and set up for wet sump oiling. Producition Gen III style cylinder heads may be used, but maximum performance can be had with Gen III racing heads P/N 12480090.
