Gen VI Bare Block 502. GMPP's Gen VI cast iron block that is a perfect foundation for a big-block engine project - suitable for automotive or marine applications. Siamesed cylinder walls are bored to 4.47 inches (maximum recommended bore is 4.500 inches). Standard deck height (9.80 inches) surfaces are reinforced for sperior head gasket sealing. The block has four-bolt main caps and can use either roller or standard lifters.
