Cylinder Head Splayed-Valve Aluminum. Splayed-valve casting has 0.240-inch minimum port wall thickness to permit extensive modifications for greater air-flow. Intake ports are 240 cc. Intake valves are angled 16-degrees to the deck surface and tilted (splayed) 4-degrees. Exhaust valve angles are 11 degrees, with a 4-degree tilt. Intake and exhaust ports are symmetrical and can accommodate 2.20-inch intake valves and 1.65-inch exhaust valves. Nominal combustion chamber volume is 45cc. Valve seats and guides are not included. Use with rocker arm stand P/N 10185041, intake gasket P/N 10185042, rocker cover gasket P/N 10185043, and rocker cover P/N 10185045. Note: Intake manifold and remaining valvetrain components will need to be purchased in the aftermarket or fabricated. GM Performance Parts cylinder heads are created with GM premium-engineering, then cast and machined to our exacting manufacturing standards. GMPP cylinder heads are available as bare castings or complete cylinder head from service replacement castings to all-out competition applications.
