Composition Head Gasket Composition head gasket with stainless steel faces for stock or mildly modified engines with 4.00-inch cylinder bores and cast iron or aluminum heads. Compressed thickness is 0.028-inch. Note: Small-block cylinder head gaskets are available in a variety of materials and thicknesses. Keep in mind your engine' intended usage and minimum piston-to-head clearance when selecting gaskets.
