The hydraulic roller tappets are 0.63-inch longer than flat tappets and require an induction-hardened camshaft, special pushrods, lifter guides P/N 12550002, and guide fastener P/N 14101116. Note: These lifters should be used only in 1997-and-newer production blocks designed for roller cams.
