New-design nylon cover is used on all ZZ4 crate engines and will bolt up to 1995-current small-block V-8, except LT1, LT4 and Gen III small-block. Cover uses RTV sealant for sealing and is not recommended for use with short-style water pump. Use early-style, stamped steel cover for short-style water pump applications.
