HEI Distributor Billet. Small block & big block, V8. Billet aluminum CNC-machined housing provides great strength. Ball bearing guide, oversized shaft and long sintered bushing for stability. Offers mechanical advance and vacuum advance. Includes brass terminal cap. Use connector P/N 12167658 to attach tachometer and 12-volt power supply wire to distributor. High-quality, durable and dependable GMPP distributors optimize the performance of your GM engine. These distributors are interchangeable among standard GM small-block and big-block V-8's. For tall-deck engines, GMPP offers a distributor with an adjustable slip collar - P/N 10093387. Note: It is extremely important to use a melonized steel distributor gear with all new GM engines equipped with a flt-tappet or hydraulic steel roller camshaft. Serious engine damage may occur otherwise. Most GMPP distributors come with a melonized steel gear. Use distributor gear P/N 10456413 on a non-GMPP distributor.
