Q-Series Carburetor, 1050 CFM Drag Race, Gasoline Specifications: PRIMARY JET- 86 SECONDARY JET- 93 IDLE BLEED- .070" HI SPEED BLEED- .028" Q-Series Carburetor Info: MAIN BODY PROFORM High-Flow Main Body- The die cating is vacuum-drawn. This process helps to minimize any chance for porosity to occur. Also, critical casting dimensions can be held to much closer tolerances. Larger sizes are secondary hard tool machined to exacting specifications to provide "real world" venturi/throttle bore combinations that provide both maximum air flow and throttle response. Scew-in bleeds enable fine tuning of both the low-and high-speed systems. Scalloped, symmetrical venturi openings provide minimal restriction to air flow, yet maintains a strong booster signal. BILLET METERING BLOCK CNC machined with 4-stage emulsion to provide more precise fuel metering, improve throttle response and a more uniform fuel performance curve. Conventional die cast metering blocks can have porosity resulting in an imbalanced metering problem. BILLET THROTTLE BODY QFT throttle bodies provide an exveptional blend of strength and perfection because they're CNC machined to extremely close tolerances. This can procide for much more predictable and repeatable performance. Slabbed throttle shafts, used in conjunction with low-profil buttonhead screws, maximize air flow and performance. ADJUSTABLE SECONDARY PUMP CAM BRACKET All Q-Series carburetors, except the Pro Vac versions, have an adjustable secondary idle speed bracket. This allows fine tuning of the secondary throttle position to improve idle quality. ADJUSTABLE VACUUM SECONDARY Vacuum secondary carburetor features QFT's adjustable vacuum secondary system, with billet cover. APPLICATION SPECIFIC FLOATS Wedge floats for circle track applications and notched secondary floats with jet extensions for drag race versions.
