Professional Series Carburetor, Model 4500 HP Alcohol Conversion Kit Everything you need to convert your gasoline Holley HP Model 4500 to alcohol. Kit includes billet alcohol metering blocks (5/16 inch jets required,) bowl extensions, booster assemblies with billet annular insert, booster pins, air bleeds, etc. plus easy to follow instruction sheet. Professional Series Carburetor Info: POLISHED VENTURI SECTION All P-Series 4500 Carburetor main bodies feature a custom hand-polished venturi section that not only enhances the cosmetic apprearance but enhances air flow. BILLET METERING BLOCK These all-new metering blocks are CNC-machined from billet aluminum. They feature three-circuit metering (gasoline carburetors), changeable emulsion, idle feed and intermediate bowl feed and discharge. Alcohol carburetors also feature a billet metering block dedicated for alcohol use, utilizing 5/16 jets. ANNULAR BOOSTER VENTURI The annular booster venturi are CNC-machined billet aluminum. Far superior to the standard castings, these new venturi have a much smoother and refined air entry and exit for increased flow, a stronger vacuum signal, less turbulence and improved fuel emulsion for better combustion. Two seperate booster inserts are available for either gasoline (red) or alcohol (blue) DIE CAST ALUMINUM FUEL BOWLS A half-pound less weight than zinc, the P-Series 4500 carburetor fuel bowl is made from a special marine-grade aluminum alloy for superior corrosion resistance. An increased length enables them to carry additional fuel capacity for high-horsepower race engines. Internal baffles prevent an unstable float level due to fuel slosh. FUEL CHUTE design significantly reduces aeration and helps direct fuel to the bottom of the bowl, towards the main jet pick up area. Dual sight glass windows facilitate setting the fuel level. Each bowl is equipped with dual fuel inlets and include a 8AN fuel inlet fitting and a fuel inlet plug. Professional Series bowls have multiple patents, reference utility patent #6554258.
