Manifold 1938-48 Manifold Ford Flathead 4-Barrel V8. Ford/Mercury. These manifolds allow the use of square-bore carbs such as Edelbrock Performer Series 500 cfm carb #1403 or #1404 on the Ford Flathead engine. They are reproductions of the Vintage Edelbrock #452 two-piece manifold with a new carb adapter flange designed for modern 4-barrel carburetors. Carburetor Recommendations: Edelbrock Performer Series carb, 500 cfm. Installation Notes: Recommended intake gasket: Fel-Pro #MS2853. Manifold height: A-4.06 in, B-6.06 in. Port exit dimensions: 1.3 in x 1.7 in.
