Because it is a liquid insulator it completely seals 100 percent of the substrate being coated. With only the thickness of a credit card Lizard Skin forms a skin like membrane which can now insulate areas that are not accessible with standard forms of mat insulation. Once cured, it seals the surface from moisture and most chemicals. The material remains flexible and can be sanded, primed and painted. Lizard Skin forms a seamless membrane that reflects and dissipates heat and sound. The material is water soluble with no chemicals. It withstands temperatures from -45 up to 500 F.
