1974 & Later Manifolds Ford V6 2.8 Litre, 4 bbl carb, 390 cfm Holley recommended. Later vehicles such as Bronco II and Ranger must use 1983 or earlier stock distributor with vacuum advance or aftermarket equilvalent. Manifold also use the early design 3 bolt water neck (Offenhauser part number 6278, not included with manifold.) This manifold (competition design) will actually allow the engine to perform with proper balance throughout all stages of RPM resulting from the high rate of velocity in the primary circuit and perfect balance that automatically results when the secondary or acceleration portion takes over. Manifold includes installation kit (6097K) and intake manifold gasket set (6100). Important note for non-US engines. Ford continued to use the 2.6L heads on non-US 2.8L engines. Port size and configurations on the heads are different between the 2.6L and the US version of the 2.8L. To use this manifold on non-US engines, you must use US 2.8L heads, camshaft, and exhaust manifolds. Offenhauser part number 6116-DP will work on non-US 2.8L engines that are using the 2.6L style heads.
