The MC-3’s circuit is based around the Panasonic MN3207 analog IC (now out of production) that is found in many more expensive units. Rather than thinning your sound, the MC-3 offers an increased low-end frequency response, making it suitable for use with any instrument including Bass, Guitar and Keyboards. In addition, the MC-3 offers a slight level boost when engaged that lets you jump out in the mix and be heard.
