TRANSMISSION REAR BUSHING
3-Speed - SEE APPLICATIONS
This bushing fits 1948-1954 Chevrolet passenger cars & trucks with 3-Speed transmissions. It is often worn badly. Check whenever rebuilding your transmission. If the clearance exceeds .010", the bushing should be replaced. This bushing keeps the front yoke of the U-joint tight and prevents vibration. Originally, GM did not service this part as a bushing only, but required that you purchase the entire rear casting. This part is precision machined in brass. Proudly Made in the USA!!
