Ordering Info & Policies

Please read the Ordering Information carefully & thoroughly. If you have any questions please feel free to call. We will be delighted to answer any questions. Be sure to check your car and order the correct parts. If you are not sure please ask before ordering. It will save us both time & money!

Payment method:
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express.

Shipping & Handling:
UPS is our primary shipping course. Call for other options. Canada: Add 20% for S & H (We are not responsible for customs or duty tax) Overseas: Shipping quotes available upon request. Fragile items, such as molding, will be shipped in PVC tubes & will have an additional $10.00 fee. Oversize items, such as sheetmetal, bumpers, etc. will have an additional $10.00 fee.

If an item is out of stock, it will be shipped as soon as possible. Please check your receipt for any notations. Please call & cancel any backorder if you do not want to wait.

Truck shipments:
All orders too large for UPS or Federal Express must be shipped by truck & must be prepaid by Bank Cashier's Check or Postal Money Order. No credit card or C.O.D. Please be sure to inspect parts while the driver is still there.

Damaged merchandise:
Damage in transit is the responsibility of the carrier, not Melvin's Classic Ford Parts. If you receive an opened or damaged package, inspect it in the presence of the carrier & have the driver note "Damage" on the delivery sheet. Contact your local UPS or Truckline. Please keep merchandise in the original box.

Special Orders:
These are items that are not stocked parts. These must be prepaid with Cash, Postal Money Order or Bank Carrier's Check. No Credit Card. No return or exchange on special orders. These parts cannot be returned for any reason other than defects in material or workmanship.

Can be returned for exchange or store credit within 15 days from date of invoice. Please call for return authorization number. After 15 days a 20% restocking fee will be charged. After 30 days a 30% restocking fee. After 60 days a 50% restocking fee. All new products are guaranteed against defects in workmanship & material. Liability to Melvin's Classic Ford Parts is limited to the replacement of the defective parts. All items returned must be in "New" condition & in the original packaging. No return on electrical, literature, stripe kits, paint or special orders. You must include a copy of your original invoice or it cannot be returned.

Melvin's Classic Ford Parts, Inc. will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused by delays or any damage caused by the replacement of a defective part nor the labor or transportation incurred. Our obligation is to replace the defective parts. We are not liable for the use or misuse of any of our products. We are not responsible for any typographical errors.

Used Parts & N.O.S. Parts:
We will do our best to describe parts to you-we can e-mail you a picture if you like, but please understand that there is NO RETURN on these parts.
